Transport application
It allows for the mutual acceptance of transport cards and pupil/student cards with an active transport application among contracted carriers. An activated transport chip allows the holder to use the card as a transport card with transport companies participating in the TransCard acceptance system, in accordance with the applicable transport and tariff conditions of each transport company. It can be used as an electronic transport wallet, a season ticket (STT), or an electronic document for claiming a fare discount from carriers.

Validity of the transport application
The transport application is valid for a period of 13 months, from 1 September to 30 September of the following calendar year, for Student cards (university students). During September, students continuing into the next year of their study programme are allowed to travel to enrolment at a discount. Most bus carriers, as well as ZSSK, a.s., offer this option, but it is necessary to check with the specific carrier, as it is subject to their applicable tariff conditions.

Contactless chip cards
We offer contactless MIFARE chip cards that provide a high standard of user convenience for everyday use. Basic functions include electronic identification of the cardholder. A chip is connected to an antenna around the perimeter of the card, without its own power source. The card does not need any external power source. In the public transport environment, the card serves as a travel pass and identification means for claiming a travel discount with SAD and ZSSK.
